All our Programs A to Z

Our Cleanup programs target high-footfall areas, such as central parks and the Yamuna Ghats in Delhi, where we not only clean but also educate people about waste segregation and the detrimental effects of plastic pollution. Our cleanups are done in a unique way where groups are designated to pick up certain kind of waste.

Climate Education Hubs

We are launching climate education hubs in schools across India, starting with Uttar Pradesh. Over the course of a year, we will provide climate literacy programs to students, teachers, and parents through a combination of online and on-site sessions.

Climate Action Rallies

In our Climate Action Rallies program, we bring together passionate individuals to raise awareness about the urgent need for climate action and mobilize collective action to combat climate change and advocate for sustainable policies that protect our planet for future generations. We are coming up with Delhi-focused rallies starting in July.

Project Dhaaga focuses on uplifting uneducated and unskilled girls and women from impoverished and illiterate groups, distanced from modern changes. The initiative aims to address the need for awareness and financial literacy, enabling women to handle both profit and loss aspects for the betterment of their families.

The festival covers a wide array of topics, including commemorating UN Days, expert panel sessions, discussions with policy experts, insights into plastics and behavior, engaging youth in conversations about plastics. It is majorly to commemorate Earth Day every year.

Our Educational and Awareness Sessions aim to inform and inspire individuals about environmental issues and sustainable practices. These sessions are conducted in schools, colleges, and community centers, featuring expert speakers, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities. These are mostly scientific workshops.

The Future Forward Summit is an International Summit that exposes the youth and participants to modern topics covering Future trends in Earth and Space. It focuses on Global commons and connects how every field of study is interconnected. The first summit was held in 2021, and the next one will be held in July-August 2024.

Green Switch focuses on promoting a shift in a friendly localised diet and animal welfare. It also aims to raise awareness against animal abuse and protecting species from extinction and endangerment. The first summit was held in 2021, and the next is scheduled for the end of 2025.

ILMEC is a digital campaign that started during the first COVID-19 lockdown in March 2022. It engaged youth in discussion and dialogue about a theme-specific issue (e.g., Reducing Plastic, getting the best out of Waste, Vertical Gardens, Sustainable Fashion, etc.). One of the largest campaigns engaging audience during the covid lockdown.

Internships

We offer summer, winter, and rolling internships in various domains, including program management, social media, data analytics, technical expertise, public speaking, and more. To date, over 500 students have completed internships with TOE.

Let's talk SDG's

A survey-based program aimed at assessing public awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By asking five simple questions, we are gathering data over a five-year period from various cities across India. It is a purely volunteer run program recording authentic data.

Market Awareness Drive (MAP)

Our Market Awareness Drive focuses on educating vendors and shoppers about the importance of sustainable practices within local markets. We engage directly with market communities to promote eco-friendly alternatives, waste reduction techniques and reduce the use of polybags in markets.

Moral and Innovative Environment Leadership Program (MIEL)

The Moral and Innovative Environment Leadership Program, launched with the Global Peace Foundation, focuses on creating leaders who understand peace and environmental issues. The program ran for two consecutive years and consisted of four phases. Over 250 students participated in both virtual and offline modes.

Peacebuilding 101

We are expanding our commitment to peacebuilding. Over a 12-month period, we aim to train students through a structured six-session model, including two on-field project-based sessions. The program is designed to lay a solid foundation for peacebuilding by explaining its fundamental principles and practices.

Crafting narratives is an art, and what better way to weave those tales than through the artistry of slogans, paintings, street theater (nukkad), and songs. Our commitment to Performative Arts is our way of making a green switch through storytelling. We carefully craft our performances and narratives with the audience in mind.

Period Awareness Drive (PAD)

By involving various stakeholders and addressing different dimensions of menstrual health, this project contributes to the overall well-being and empowerment of women and girls while promoting sustainable practices and reducing the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Our Plantation Drives are dedicated to greening urban and rural areas by planting native trees and plants. These events bring together volunteers of all ages to rejuvenate local ecosystems, combat climate change, and improve air quality.

Outer Space Matters (OSM)

This initiative focuses on fostering a sense of belonging and understanding the importance of outer space in our lives. Targeting the 15 to 25-year-old age group, OSM will explore why outer space matters and how it influences various aspects of our existence.

Special Talk on Loop and The Power of 5

We have been conducting Special Talks on "The Loop" and "The Power of 5." In "The Loop," we emphasize how every action must be the right one, taken step by step without stopping until everything is set right. In "The Power of 5," we focus on how the five basic necessities of life impact our planet.

Sustainable Bhava, supported by Tears of The Earth, is a youth-led collaborative project initiated by Ecoistic Pathshala. Its primary objective is to educate and raise awareness among children about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

Welcome to our sustainability partnerships! We're here to assist you in making your event more eco-conscious. Our expertise lies in providing innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of an event's gatherings. 

We collaborate with organizations to promote animal welfare efforts, do events and fundraising to support ititaives working on the cause and we have a gaushala in Shukartaal, Muzaffarnagar, where we engage in various activities supporting animal welfare and conservation.

TAP fosters a unique journey where participants connect with nature, emphasizing appreciation and preservation while discouraging exploitation and littering. Through guided activities and reflection, individuals learn to minimize their impact, embodying Leave No Trace principles.

We transform waste materials into beautiful vertical gardens. This beautifies walls, improves air quality, and promotes sustainability by repurposing everyday waste into vibrant green spaces. We have successfully installed some of this artwork in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.

This program is for Rural areas, specifically for villages in remote areas, where even with the advancement of technology and resources, people are not able to avail those opportunities due to a lack of information, awareness, and education.

Virah Band is the official but independent music band that creates songs addressing climate change, unity, and social causes. The band has performed at prominent venues and events, including Pragati Maidan, C20 Events, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and many more.

The mission of the Water Ninja is clear to educate and empower people about the importance of water conservation and the critical role of clean water in maintaining human health and well-being. 

The Youth Changemaker's Dialogue, in collaboration with American Center, US Embassy, is a purpose-driven forum designed to facilitate engaging exchanges among young individuals from diverse backgrounds and generations. 

Young Changemaker's Winter Camp for School

Our Young Changemakers Winter Camp engages students aged 12-18 in a dynamic workshop format. Students gain valuable insights into themes such as environmental sustainability, peacebuilding, and STEM. Join us to empower the next generation of leaders dedicated to creating a better, more sustainable world.

Hosted by The Dais, Tears of the Earth, Lawngitude, and Earth Day Network, India, and supported by Indie Stori and Green Saviours, the Young Leaders for Climate Action Fellowship is a comprehensive program on Learning and Action.

Youth Space Exploration Convening

Youth Space Exploration Convening in October 2024, is a unique program designed to bring together youth from various rural, urban, and diverse backgrounds. Participants will collaborate to create a comprehensive statement document reflecting the youth's perspective on space advancements and their needs. This initiative aims to empower young voices in the global conversation about the future of space exploration.
